مهناز پرستاری ۳۵ ساله و بیوه است که دارای دو فرزند یعنی یک پسر نوجوان به نام علیار و یک دختر کوچک است و قصد دارد فصل جدیدی از زندگی اش را با نامزد شدن با حمید که یک راننده آمبولانس است آغاز کند اما وقتی علیار به دلیل مشکلات رفتاری از مدرسه اخراج می شود یک بحران خانوادگی جدید ایجاد می شود Mahnaz, a 40-year-old widowed nurse, struggles with her rebellious son, Aliyar, who has been suspended from school. Family tensions reach a peak during the betrothal ceremony with her new boyfriend Hamid, and a tragic accident occurs. In the aftermath, Mahnaz will be forced to confront betrayal and loss, and to embark on a quest for justice.
