داستان این سریال درباره‌ی تحول ناگهانی زندگی متواضعانه‌ی خانواده ساروهانلی است که در شهری در آنادولو زندگی می‌کنند. کشمکش بر سر مفهوم خانواده میان امین، رئیس خانواده‌ی ساروهانلی و پسرش قدیر، که از زندان بیرون آمده نکات زیادی در بر دارد Emin Saruhanlı, an authoritarian father committed to family values, learns that he is the sole heir to a considerable fortune as a result of the loss of one of his close relatives.
